Mike Scott was born in Holyoke Massachusetts and grew up in a small town in New England called South Hadley . He graduated from High School in 1975 and then joined the Navy and moved to Jacksonville that same year. Mike was Born Again September 5th 1988 and began to teach in the singles ministry at Westside Baptist Church. He later attended Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology in May of 2005. While attending Jacksonville Baptist Mike received a call to ministry and later was ordained in 2002 by Reverend Tommy Mallard. In November of 2002 Mike became the Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Cuyler. In December of 2003 after much prayer Mike became the Singles Pastor at Promise Land Baptist Church. Mike works with our Middle Singles and Overcomers Ministry. Mike and his lovely wife Joni have three children and Joni is very active and instrumental in his work at Promise Land. |
